Black Business Month at Legacy West August 4th -28th

Legacy West aimed to celebrate Black Business Month here by partnering with local Black Businesses in the area for the month of August featuring Pop-up shops every Friday-Sunday from black vendors.

If you haven't had the chance to experience the intriguing stories behind some of the vendors or see what all there is to offer in Legacy West, take advantage the last few remaining days by visiting some of these featured vendors days. Headlining this last weekend is URBAN TRIVIA LIVE (a card game that tests your knowledge of the latest & greatest in black culture) and SADIAA BLACK BEAUTY ROOM. A premier Black beauty experience, featuring a fireside chat with DFW's top beauty dignitaries, beauty awards, a roaming fashion show, and Black beauty vendors. These are FREE events, therefore registration does NOT guarantee seating or access to the venue. Seating is first come, first served so please check times and info. HAIR BY AKONI August 28th at Legacy Hall | 3-7pm

Hair By Akoni is a factory direct hair company that creates ayurveda hair care for men and women with textured hair. Starting back in 2018 in Guangzhou China, Hair By Akoni has consulted with well over 100 haircare and beauty professionals to source and manufacture originally designed products. The goal of solving the problems of providing high quality haircare led Hair By Akoni to create their natural hair care line, Ami Ndo in 2021.

SPARKLE CO. August 28th at Legacy Hall | 3-7pm

Sparkle & Co Aromatherapy provides a beautiful balance of teaching the intricacies of aromatherapy and providing quality products and services to assist in self-care. With humble beginnings from the kitchen of a home in Dallas, Ky McDonald started with candles and ventured into much more with a wide variety of unique and beautifully scented self-care & home fragrance options.

NEWTONS SASSY SAUCE August 26th | 1-8pm

Newtons Sassy Sauce is a pretty good sauce to use for your hunger happy hearts. D*mn good as they might add. With only 7 ingredients made in small batches by hand, Newtons Southern Food brand introduces a hot sauce that is gaining more popularity among retailers and business alike.

EZRA Coffee Co August 26th | 1-8pm

For those who love that morning cup of joe, Ezra Coffee was founded in 2021 by Jessica Taylor to create a unique coffee experience for every coffee enthusiast. Ezra Coffee offers specialty and ethically sourced coffees infused with rich, bold flavors and rooted in a shared history that unites us all. Ezra Coffee also created some blends for those who enjoy flavored coffee without milk-based creamers and curated the flavors

to represent the African American diaspora.
