Netflix hit records with "Glass Door" and "Wednesday" but when can you watch?



Netflix has hit the holiday season running! Not only does the popular streaming service boast a record-breaking debut of an English-language TV series on its service with "Wednesday" but also pounding the box office with the one-week sneak preview of Glass Door: A Knives out mystery.


During the 5-day week that includes the Thanksgiving holiday, Glass Door: A Knives out mystery was hitting the box office big with an estimated $13.3M over the week and projected to gain over $15M in sales. Netflix entered the cinema circuit with some of the top theaters in AMC, Regal, and Cinemark to gauge the probable success of the Knives Out 2 premiere featuring Daniel Craig, Janelle Monae, Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, and others in a film about famed Southern detective Benoit Blanc who travels to Greece for his latest case. Glass Onion will be out of theaters until Dec. 23, when it actually debuts on Netflix.


As for Wednesday, currently streaming on Netflix, the supernatural series has already brought in an amazing 341.23 million hours viewed in its first week. The series is top 10 in all 93 of the countries that Netflix tracks, and currently sits at No. 1 in 83 of those 93 countries. According to Netflix, Wednesday has been viewed in more than 50M households.


With Jenna Ortega starring as Wednesday Addams, the series follows her years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Mastering her emerging psychic abilities, unravelling a killing spree terrorizing the local town, and solving a mysterious murder that entangled her parents many years ago.
