Rihanna will headline first ever Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Feb 12. For the NFL seasons biggest event, they announced the collab along with the Apple Music, who takes over from years of Pepsi Super Bowl sponsorship and Roc Nation, Jay-Z's label that which she is signed to.

In 2019, Rihanna declined an opportunity she had to lead the halftime show to show support and solidarity with then San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick with his decision to kneel in protest during the National Anthem and all the controversy at the time.

Despite not much coming from the music currently, Rihanna is still one of the best-selling artists with 14 number-one singles in the U.S. and won nine Grammys. With an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion, she is currently the wealthiest female musician across the globe with her clothing and entrepreneurial efforts with her Fenty fashion house and beauty line. Last year's Super Bowl was headlined by a musical all-star cast of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and 50 Cent amassed an average of 103.4 million viewers during the broadcast. Expect Rihanna to follow last year's success with plenty of support from Apple Music and Roc Nation's Jay-Z to be influential as always.
